“I promised myself that when the time came in 1993 for Dire Straits to finish touring, I would take up my other passion – painting, to fill the inevitable vacuum. Little did I realise that what I initially considered a hobby very quickly became an integral part of my life.”

You reach a stage where you sell a few paintings, which is great, and a little voice inside might say: ‘I think I can do this’ – but then a much bigger voice steps up and reminds you that this is just the beginning of the journey.”
